The garment capsule is crafted from flax created in refurbished factories in Ivanovo and Vladimir regions in Russia. The unification of ideas and resources, the localization of the full production cycle and the possibility of customizing the product is a new reality, which is embodied in a set of 15 items of gender-fluid clothing.
"Our collaboration was born out of a joke - 'why not cosplay Scarlett O'Hara and sew yourself a dress out of a curtain?' We are engaged in the production of interior linen, we have never aspired to fashion, our main task is to dress at home, "says Alexandra Falishtynskaya.
"When I first saw the fabrics, a complete picture of the capsule immediately formed in my head. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of Russian production, which I usually bypassed when choosing European manufacturers. It took about two months to create the collection, all items: sophisticated costumes and basic tops are combined with each other and work on nuances of color and textures, "comments Olga Selivanova, owner and designer of SOL.
